What a fantastic 10th successive Sober October, with £2,500 raised which, with Gift Aid, means c.£3,000 for Macmillan to support their vital work supporting those with cancer and those who support them! That’s my best Sober October ever and means that you’ve helped me raise almost £22, 000 (with Gift Aid) for this great charity over the past decade!

Why I’m Taking Part
This is my 10th Sober October; over the past 9 years, many of you have helped me to raise over £18,000 (with a little help from Gift Aid!) for Macmillan and their fantastic work to support those living with cancer. Shall we make it £20,000 in ten years? Come on, we can do this!

As I ease towards the end of my 10th Go Sober campaign for Macmillan, massive thanks to my fellow parishioners at Sacred Heart RC Church in Bushey who’ve weighed in with a fantastic set of after-mass collections raising £395.50, taken on Sunday 19th November! Thanks to all of you, and special thanks to our fabulous Parish Priest, Fr Jim McNicholas, for his year-on-year support!
