Why I’m Taking Part
Hello!
Have you heard the news? I'm going Sober this October for 31 days and it’s all for a great cause!
Cancer has hit close to home for me with my daughters mum, Kim being diagnosed with terminal cancer at the start of the summer holidays. This has come as a huge shock with many challenges ahead. Macmillan have been excellent from the off. With Kim unable to work, Macmillan were fantastic in helping Kim getting the benefits and support needed to help allay any financial worries.
This is just one aspect of the work they do. They do so many other things to support those living with cancer and Going Sober for a month seems like the least I could do to help support their invaluable work.

So sorry to hear of Kim's illness, she was an absolute legend of the Scottish football twitter scene when it was at it's best and she's still the first name that springs to mind whenever Brechin City are mentioned.
She's as famous as the hedge and my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family and friends at this really difficult time.
