Five years ago both my Granny and Grandad passed away, a few months apart from one another, both as a result of cancer. They were both the most incredible souls and never did let what affected them show or in any way diminish their kindness towards anyone and everyone. The world was a completely different time with COVID restrictions in place which meant seeing them near the end wasn't possible and the processing of losing them especially hard for my family.

As trivial as a sober month is, this is a close cause to my heart and something that I have done before as both a personal goal and to honour their memory by raising any money to aid those who might be in similar scenarios today.
