Why I’m Taking Part
In August 2023 my mum, Jane Holland, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. For those who know my mum you will agree she is the most selfless person and would do anything for anyone.
Therefore I am doing what I can to give back to the team at Macmillan and taking part in the Sober for October challenge.
I will also be attempting to cycle over 250 miles in October and for every mile cycled I will donate an extra £1 to the cause. (If you know me as someone who is very inactive, you will know this is some feat and will be a challenge!) I will be posting regular updates on how many miles I have done on this page.
Please join me with my journey to raise as much money as possible for the lovely people at macmillan cancer support who provide the very best of care and support up and down the country.

10 miles a day , no problem…. Just be thankful you’re not a proclaimer and have to walk 10,000 miles, then 10,000 more! :)
