Why I’m Taking Part
Hey everyone!
Some of you may know that my mum was recently diagnosed with breast cancer☹️
She was initially told it was contained to the one area but further biopsies taken during surgery have shown that the cancer had spread into her lymph nodes which has resulted in her requiring 8 sessions of chemotherapy, further surgery to remove most of her lymph nodes, and 12 sessions of radiotherapy planned for the beginning of next year.
She has really struggled with the emotional and physical impacts of the chemotherapy and still has a long journey ahead but I’m so proud of how brave she has been so far!!
To show my support myself and Harley are going sober for October (everyone knows how much I love a beer 🤣) and walking 100 miles each to raise money for MacMillan cancer research .
I would be so grateful of anyone who could donate if they can 🙏🏻

Only managed 4k round Tecca tonight it was pretty wild but we made it, hopefully we can get some more walks in over the weekend!!

This would normally be a day lying on the sofa usually very hungover😆
Instead we done are walk in the morning with poppy a cosco trip and I went to work for a bit before are night time walk 🩷
First sober weekend in agesssss!!! ✔️
We did do a 3k this morning but i stupidly didn’t record it so I won’t count it,

I haven’t updated for a while, we’ve had a busy few days, we actually didn’t do any walking Saturday or Sunday so have a lot to catch up on this week 💪
Another 22 miles done and 1 sober night out for one of my best friends birthday, treated myself to a non alcoholic beer, i lasted 4 hours and drove home 🤣🤣
Nearly half way there 🩷🩷🩷
